That’s because our skilled workers get a free education from TOPS and head off to Texas for work and lower taxes.
You democrats will figure it out one day.

Couldn’t resist bringing a little OT response to an obviously Poli Board thread on the OT.

You mean they don't want to stay in LA with it's crumbling infrastructure, overtly corrupt politicians, inefficient local governments, and hood rat culture?

This is not meant as a insult. Just an observation.

A lot of people like this are just completely blue pilled and susceptible to falling for the propaganda put out by local media.

LOL.

No.

LA already has too many colleges, and too many failing colleges.

Outside of some areas of IT, LA is more than capable of producing skilled workers.

They have nowhere to work. The businesses are leaving.

I really hate when lefties tell us to ignore the data.

I don't take that as an insult. You're probably right. I just don't understand how you can vote for someone whose done nothing but raise your taxes and tell you it's not enough.

That's complete bullshite.
Louisiana's numbers are brought down by a segment of the population that doesn't want to work or learn but that's not why companies are fleeing.

He plays the military background, anti-abortion, local boy done well card, well, and he has avoided the worst of the obvious liberal tendencies. This appeals to a lot of people that I know. Even though most are voting Respone, too many think JBE "isn't that bad." That is likely going to keep a lot at home today. shite, winning again will only cause JBE to see his victory as a mandate to keep moving more to the deep left.

That would be wonderful, and oddly enough, it would be better for plaintiffs. The larger the legal advertising budget, the faster cases have to opened and settled quickly. If the actual plaintiff benefits, then that's a nice side bonus.

There’s a segment of that population that does want to work but they don’t know how to act once they get in the job and their employment is unsustainable. They seriously lack basic skills of how to behave in a job, how to treat your boss and coworkers, how to be accountable, etc.... Many have wildly unrealistic expectations about pay and advancement and become malcontents very quickly.

Here's a bit of truth. A LARGE segment of society, and JBE voters, do NOT want to work and live for their little comp or minimal limits auto settlement. They bounce from job to job and supplement their income with lawsuits. I guarantee that they are not spending that money looking for quality healthcare or working on their degree Their only health concerns are buying more cigarettes and diabetes medication.

Like Rocco said, when state farm left Monroe years ago, the reason gave was "lack of intellectual capital".

JBE and those before him are merely a symptom to a bigger problem. Tear up the constitution and start over. Get rid of the legislature and start over. Businesses have to pay off too many people before they even break ground. Then the sue happy lawyers take the rest. Maybe use what the tax money is intended for rather than line the pockets of the the political class and their “podnuhs”. Run LA like a business, not a like crime family and maybe we can make some progress.

And fix the fricking roads!

Many skilled workers leave because Louisiana is a backwards shithole with crumbling infrastructure; those are the ones who can get jobs here. The ones who can't obviously have to leave too.
