Not a single Democrat would have broken ranks on this and here we are yet again being the shits that will at least attempt to shite all over our chances and the voters that gave us those chances.

Now we have to rely on Mitt Fagney and Lisa Cuckowski to not vote no.

Good job assholes.

Look, as much as I hate to have to say it, I can live with it as long as we have 50 other votes, if this helps her to get reelected. Have to play the long game. She will vote yes on Trump's appointment to replace Clarence Thomas when he retires sometime after the election, just like she supported Kavanaugh. Trump may need her in 2021.

her seat is considered a flip target b/c she voted for Kav & against removing Trump in the impeachment trial

if Mitch has the votes... let her appease her Maine voters & perhaps somehow save her seat... b/c if it's not her... the person who will replace her will have more in line with AOC than any other RINO

and who wouldn't rather have a RINO when compared to an AOC-type in that seat

She waited until Mitch told her he already has the votes before she announced her no vote.

She's fighting for her life to get re-elected in bi-polar Maine which is 47% Democrats and 36% Republican but 90% social justice warriors.

She doesn't want to research the fact that ACB is extremely qualified. She's just going to vote no?

I would rather see her lose to a democrat then keep her arse in as a Republican. She has been horrible and a prick teaser for years.

Collins added that her decision was not based on who the nominee is

Then if there is a legal vote and you're voting no on the candidate because you think there shouldn't be a vote before the election, that puts you in the scum column. Not only are you defying your own party but you are defying the candidate a fair vote based on her merits. That's pretty damn shitty in my book.

Oh well. Maybe the Democrat that beats her won't be too bad.

Who am I kidding. They are all bad. See ya Susan.

So she disagrees with a president's job that the constitution says he needs to do? Weird.

"Not because I might not support that nominee under normal circumstances, but we're simply too close to the election, and in the interest of being fair to the American people --

If you want to be fair to the American people and make sure this gets to the election; then you want this to be an election issue. If that is the case, both candidates MUST present their top 3-5 choices to fill this seat. If the American people do not know "who" they are voting for to fill the seat, then bringing it to election would not be fair to them, and would not be a qualified election issue.

She gone.
I think she was gone anyway but this might actually help her in Maine. Probably not enough, though.

frick that. We're getting Bama back and can take that hit. Those people in Maine are weird as frick, anyway.

Yeah, we're getting Alabama back. Big fricking deal when we lose Colorado, Arizona, and North Carolina.

When we end up with only 49 seats, I'm gonna laugh my arse off at all you dumbasses screaming for her to get voted out.

Please vote that Democrat out of office Maine

its said her dimrat opponent has a big lead and she is not expected to hold her seat any way so it will go dem

sad thing is she, just like songbird, votes with dimrats 85% of the time anyway so she did nothing in that seat to help republicans and really wont change much when she is gone

Colorado is probably gone, but we'll hold NC. And McSally may benefit hugely from the SCOTUS confirmation fight. I think right now GOP ends up with a minimum 51 senators for next year. James and Lewis have decent shots for upsets in MI and MN as well.

Remember that most of the posters here don't have the requisite number of brain cells needed in order to rub together so that they can grasp this simple principle of national politics.

Do you always just pull shite out of your arse when you post?

If only there was some website you could go to for facts beforehand so you don't end up looking like an idiot.

MN isn't even rated a tossup currently.
