These people won’t be able to handle him. I love it that he speaks the truth and doesn’t give a damn what they think.

I hated Deion Sanders when he was a player in the NFL.

Don't really dislike him so much anymore
Background: Former Cowboy fan here. To the extent that I am anything other than indifferent about the NFL now, they are probably still "my team."

As a player, Sanders was about nothing but self-promotion.

As a coach, he seems to be all about his players. I respect that.

No you aren’t.
Both have big hearts.
They have different viewpoints on multiple issues, that’s all.

A world in which everyone thinks the same is chilling.

I said that a straight person who lives in a gay neighborhood and interacts with his neighbors would probably understand gay folks better than a straight person without the same experience.

Funny thing is this sounds a lot like me (not now but have in the past in different cities), and I'm probably considered one of the biggest "homo/tran-phobes" on this board by the lefties. Things changed when gays made me chose between God and them, but until then I had no problem with them. Just kept an arms length away enough for them to know that my friendship doesn't go further than that.

Still don't have issues with the everyday gay, but just like with an every day moslim...that will go so far when if I have to chose. God will win every time, and unapologetically. I know that, so my arms length just got longer over the last few years.

Neon Deion never bothered me.

The masks in the room are still ridiculous.

I’m sure he is a cultural shock to that administration.

Upvote. I generally agree with the vast majority of your post, though I don’t really understand this point.

If you are referencing marriage, I honestly don’t know even one gay person who would try to force a preacher to perform a same-sex marriage ceremony, if that preacher were opposed to the concept.

It is a tiny fringe, and that fringe should be dealt with within the community. Honestly, the same is true of those people who advocate so loudly for things like third trimester abortion. They are the fringe. A few percentage points.

For some reason, political discussion in this country tends to focus upon the fringe, rather than upon different (but not widely different) viewpoints.

I like them both as well. Good posters even if I don't agree everytime.

I kind of love that he's in a place like Boulder.

I actually like Hank and think he means well but he tried to nuance things too much. You can be ok with gay and trans people but still think drag queen story hour is inappropriate and it’s pulling teeth to get him to say that is so easily attackable. SFP does this as well.

Hank’s problem is that he is a true blue neocon (which is fine) on a populist board.

Coach Prime has said it many times that Primetime was his character to create wealth. He wanted to be able to take care of his mom. Watch his HOF speech and you will see.

i was really pissed when Jerry signed him (just like Terrell Owens) but man did he produce some fun seasons.

i rolled my eyes when he went to JSU but he seems like he's committed to his kids. a friend's son (who is white AF from Lubbock, TX) and went and played for him at JSU and followed him to CU

The other great part is when he minimizes the job of the mental health people and tells them they need spiritual help

Purposeful take over of the Rainbow, was a start that made me realize there was an attack coming. Marriage definitely took it over the wall for me. I believe the word means something specific, and that is the Biblical union between a man and a woman. Lets not think the gay agenda would have been happy with calling it a Civil Union if they had all the exact same rights. They specifically have attacked typical beliefs to wedge themselves into it to normalize their sin.

Ohhh and to add on the Marriage thing...as an American that believes in States Rights, I do not like the fact that CA voted against it and the gay mafia took it to SCOTUS and then it made it national law. I don't want to hear anything about the "sanctity of the vote" from any leftie that supports gay marriage nationally when they support the way it happened.

Loved that too. Tails shifted in their chairs when he said that.
