I caught the last 10 minutes and have never seen such a combative moderator. It was unbelievable. My wife is sick of Trump and she even said the way she was attacking him and constantly providing her version of the “facts” was awful.

It’s like a lot of his answers, we get so much disinformation then he says something like that and instead of her pushing him too clarify she shouts out a left wing talking point.

He kept answering her abortion question by doing exactly what he should. Why throw out a number and be viewed as too extreme or "start on his own 1" by giving a definitive cut off period. This seemed to aggravate her...he refused to give them a sound byte on abortion. Big W for him coming out of it. AOC's meltdown just makes it 1,000,000 times better.

He implied that he has leverage over both Putin and Z and that then said that he would use that leverage to end the war through a 3 way negotiation that would take less than a day.

This only ends one of two ways. You either give Russia the Donbas region….who Ukraine has been terrorizing for years and most citizen want to be Russian anyway….
…or thousands more die and we possibly end up in WW3.

Alright, now be honest, you had concluded it was a mistake before it even started, hadn’t you? It’s almost reflexive and subconscious for most of his detractors at this point. And most certainly the default attitude of the vast majority of people who go out of their way to tune in to CNN and even way more so of those who stay for the circle jerk analysis afterwards. So what did Trump even have to lose here? People who already hate him will hate him even more so now? Which logically follows that he only had the measurable possibility to gain.

One of his strongest points was right out of the gate when he called her out on “perhaps you’re given an agenda or you have an agenda.” That’s everything. How people on both sides don’t see this with our mainstream media just blows my mind. She only made this more blatantly obvious.
