You don’t tackle someone with a knife. Especially some one who had just been tazed.
You tell them to drop the knife. If those instructions are not followed you shoot. For center mass. Not the leg or arm. Between the nipples. Center of chest. and you continue firing until the threat is removed.
At least that is how my firearm instructor taught me.

I have been an avid Saints fan since I was a kid. I watched my Dad screaming at the TV when they were playing. I was hooked. I was in the Dome when they won their first playoff game and I had tears in my eyes when Hakeem muffed the punt. Three years ago I laughed at my Dad when he stopped watching the NFL cause of the kneeling during the Anthem. Once Drew did what he did earlier this year I knew that I was done. I have no desire to watch the Saints anymore. I still don’t believe it, but I can’t give two shits about them anymore. And I never thought I’d ever say that. I hope one day I can watch again, but all this crap needs to be over. :csb:

But but you should be able to resist arrest with a deadly weapon after raping someone and kidnapping their children. Only a racist cop would treat such a person as a threatening figure. Just have a grappling match with him in the yard and assume he won’t use his knife or YOUR gun to fatally wound you if he gets a chance. That’s what Drew Brees would do. How do you think he got that huge scar on his face.
