Without some really, really good explanation, I would be very unhappy if Trump pardoned Manafort. That said, I don't think this ever gets connected to Trump because I don't think Trump knew or was directly involved in any crimes.

Yes. Who knows, could be both.

But a Flynn indictment has a more political smell, and therefore makes me think of last chance to turn a witness.

Manafort has a real corruption smell, and probably means this indictment is the end.

Trump will not pardon true corruption, but will a political prosecution.

Finally, it’s her turn. I knew this day would come . I think I’ll celebrate with a little spirit cooking and maybe a nice Chianti.

Truely wishful thinking, all one has to do is just see what he's been investigating to see that it has nothing to do with Hillary and most likely Manafort, you know the guy who had the early morning raid.

I agree.

Trump seems to know that those will bad intentions should be punished, but not those who haplessly ran into the minefield of our overcriminalized legal system and became a convenient political scalp.

CNN: First charges filed by Mueller

Who will be surprised if Mueller himself is not involved at a criminal level before the last chapter of this shite show is written? I won't. Mueller will probably avoid jail time just like Comey, HRC, Debbie "Washursnatch" Schultz, Holder, Lerner, Lynch, etc.

THE SWAMP WILL SURVIVE I FEAR!

CNN cited sources briefed on the matter in reporting that the grand jury approved charges, but the network said that the charges are sealed under orders from a federal judge

NBC News has not confirmed the reports. Peter Carr, a spokesperson for Mueller, declined to comment Friday night.

CNN, citing sources, said that an arrest could happen Monday.

"And the reason is that law enforcement kind of wants its ducks in a row before they go out and arrest the defendant or even notify him — it may be that they don’t arrest whoever this defendant is because they’ve worked out a relationship with his or her defense attorney to bring them in to appear on the case," she said.
I am not saying this isn't true but I thought Mueller was suppose to fire anyone who leaked? It is a shame that we can't trust CNN's sauces any more than 4chan, reddit, or /pol/.

Also, reporters know how to get this type of information. No leaks are needed, Grand Jury monitoring being the easiest

I realize this thread is fun. But wouldn't it be advisable to simply wait till Monday to fully react rather than sit around guessing?

Oh jeez, it's such a coincidence that charges are flying now...I'm sure that Bob being implicated in Uranium One has nothing to do with the timing.

Just throwing this out, but getting a grand jury to indict on cue is probably trickier than throwing a lot info/misinfo into the media and stirring up a few tumultuous cycles. I’m thinking maybe someone saw the indictments coming and preempted them with all the other insinuations and innuendo.
