Sean Davis
?
@seanmdav

The one-sentence statement from CNN in the story doesn't say why he's no longer under contract with CNN, nor does it condemn or even reference his long history of anti-Israel and anti-Semitic statements, including at the U.N. yesterday. Utterly bizarre. LINK / …

Just want to start a topic on this simple fact. No condemnation of what he stated.

Isn't him being fired kind of a condemnation?

You actually think if he said something against one of cnn’s cherished groups that they wouldn’t slobber all over themselves saying how wrong he was?

Is this that fake leftist obtuseness thing or are you really that dumb?

He was fired. What more needs to be done?

You sound like a SJW.

Not without the verbal outrage it isn't, this is CNN we are talking about here.

Conservatives are but CNN isn't. They have to stay consistent or risk hypocrisy.

This is as silly as the libs getting riled up because Trump's words weren't "correct" even though his sentiment was. They fired him. That should be good enough. Let's leave getting overly emotional to the libbies.

Sounds like a bunch of conservative hypocrisy. "We know that Marc Hill was fired, but that's not enough!"

Then you guys will whine and call liberals SJW's.

frick him and frick CNN. As for condemnation, I obviously don't respect CNN, so why would I give a shite how they would spin this. He was fired. Hopefully the next mouthpiece they hire is a just as big of a POS as this guy. They deserve to be up in their neck in shite for eternity.

This is not bizarre at all. Most big companies do not openly comment on personnel matters.

I'm honestly curious and don't have time to look it up - but has this *ever* happened? For example, when Roger Ailes was ousted did Fox explicitly state why? His wiki page notes that he was supposedly told to resign or be fired so he resigned, and that "Ailes was thanked for his work, without mention of the allegations."
