IF Trump or any of his campaign met with Putin prior to the election it would be highly illegal under the Logan Act.
Now, do I think Trump took a meeting?
No.
Do I think his staff did?
With Putin personally, no, that’s way to far of a stretch. Even Trump isn’t that dumb.
Do I think they met with an intermediary with Putin’s marching orders in hand?
Absolutely. Way to much smoke to think there’s not a fire.
If your goal was revolution, what would be the easiest way to do it?
First, get a candidate like Trump elected. Right off the bat you’ve pissed off 50% of the population.
How do you take care of the other 50%? Use said canidate as a patsy, engage in a litany of illegal and or questionable behavior, then leak it out in order to destroy the now elected official you propped up and blame the other side.
Then watch it all burn.
