I stand by my "analogy" which referred to the first part the statement (we can disagree and debate - which I maintain means the opposite, just as when one prefaces an anti 2A comment with, "I'm all for the 2A but...).
However, your analysis of the second half of Kate's statement is solid and overall, we are not very far apart at all on this particular issue.
