Schumer got his closed door session and within twenty minutes another vote was taken to reopen it. It passed.

Romney can’t afford to be the one who throws the wrench in this situation. He cannot go back to Mormon Utah being the guy that stopped the possible ending of abortion in America.

After they opened the doors again and turned on the camera ....Schumer next made a motion to table the vote on Barrett until after the election. Following the Senate vote telling Schumer to stuff it, they have since cast a vote to adjourn for the evening then reconvene Saturday at noon to begin debate on the vote Monday.
In other words ...The Democrats have shot their collective wad and all things are a go for Monday after they squirm all day Saturday, while the rest of the country watches College football tomorrow.
Meanwhile, Trump took off for the Villages for a campaign speech today, then he goes to Mar a Lago to play a round of golf tomorrow. Shoeless, pointless Joe, stands in his bathroom in the bunker (basement) staring at the wall.

I watched some of this, and The democrats filed a motion to defer the hearing until Nov.6th. Every Republican voted no and killed the motion. Every Republican!
