I think it was a joke,
but seriously, was doing some concrete work at my house,
got lime inside the work glove, (didn't notice at first)
damn'd near removed the skin off back of my hand before I realized it

There was a story a few years back about a guy making a cast with concrete for his arm, he didn't take the pH or the heat when the concrete cooked off into account... did some serious damage.
But leave these dumbasses right were they are!
