When looking back through history, sex/taboo topics have been used to control / attempt to control people (also bribes and bullets...)





Above was the "big story" lobbed at Trump during the election (sex based)

As extramarital affairs became less "controversial" to the masses, the degree of taboo for control has escalated (homosexuality and sadly children)
