Because he’s not a sitting dignitary. He’s a dude vistitinf colleges for debate. As long as he’s got a couple guys near him to prevent people running up on him, that’s about the extent of what I would expect.

I've heard that UVU recommended NOT to have the event in the Amphitheater because it could not be secured. It was TPUSA who insisted it be held there....?

So 'we'll cover the stairwell' is the new leaving your post and locking yourself out of the building.

Ok, got it.

Trusting the chief of police to drone ahead after saying police aren't generally there but they used them that day.

Also: why was the roof repaired or cemented or something so quickly afterwards? Also Patel and Bongino got their days later and found evidence on the roof?

I just wish he'd told the truth that his security isn't set up for the level CK needed that day. CK supposedly turned down a vest.

He acted like he was a blackwater contractor when he is a mall cop. No offense but tell it like it is. CK never had POTUS level security nor drones rooftops secured. Just baws handling the crowd.

The head of security is shady. He never spoke about what he did as a policeman or any units he was with. His body language during the Shawn Ryan interview was horrible. Every time Shawn said Uh Huh, he knew the guy was full of shite.

You know, Harpole did have some weird mannerisms, could have been he was simply nervous and uncomfortable talking about the events that led up to Kirk's assassination.

I think the Frank Turek vid after the assassination, where he's recounting the way the day unfolded is very interesting. Frank Turek was telling Charlie Kirk as they were walking into the event that he didn't like this venue because of the large number of people in a relatively small area and the difficulty getting proper security measures in an outdoor venue.

He's a clown in the security game. A paper pusher. We would've never allowed anyone on that roof. Neither would Greg Shaffer

There are some things that just blow my mind.

Exactly…nobody leaves LE at 14 years on the job with no prior military experience to run a security company that is then paid millions.

Dude shows no ownership of command and control failure and produces a text that passes the buck…a simp.

what is it with all these security organization failing to cover roofs??

all it would take is a single drone to detect movement anywhere.

I was watching a ridiculous anime program and the team is exploring an under world location in Antarctica and two buildings are reconnoitered for possible snipers and one the locations becomes over watch.

The point is that any security detail has to have basic common sense for a CK event.

With Trump and others like CK, it statistically becomes purposeful more than incompetence.

When every day individuals have the common sense too see what buildings needed to be covered in Butler, the only answer becomes planned incompetence and a conspiracy to assassinate.

There were red flags constantly going off for me during the interview. The Juarez Mexico story made Shawn Ryan very uncomfortable, it wasn’t true. He told partial stories, as though he heard it from someone else and was repeating it. I’ve done a considerable amount of training with the guys from Texas. They are top notch and this guy isn’t one of them. I’ve never heard of him or his company.

the security detail didn’t have a drone up because theirs was too big? How much was CK paying these guys to not be able to afford a $2,000 DJI?

Thats my biggest gripe here.

Turning Point was bringing in 150Million/year.

They couldnt up the cost of security for this Man. Its so frusturating.

A 150 MILLION DOLLAR A YEAR COMPANY, AND YOU COULDNT GET A FREAKING 499.00 Black friday Done just to sweep the roof tops.
OR JUST A DUDE WITH A OPTIC SCANNING THE ROOF TOPS.

WTF.
WTF.
