The entire upper echelon of the CIA is controlled by Leftist Globalists like John Brennan, and they are totally committed to doing whatever it takes to get rid of Trump. If they could get away with it, they'd blow his head off like they did to JFK.

There is a long-standing legal requirement that the CIA must never conduct domestic intell ops, but, it is quite clear now that this law is being ignored by this version of the CIA.

Operation Northwoods

Operation Mockingbird

MK Ultra

This doesn't even take into account the CIA's history of war fomenting, assassinations and outright murder all around the world. Hey progs, why do you think the CIA is any more believable than a Russian or Ukrainian strongman? They're all evil.

I'd like to see the Director of the CIA hauled before congress under oath to explain why she approved that this be done. And whether or not it was done because she was getting feedback from agents that believed the administration was acting inappropriately. It is likely that post Pompeo, the current Director Gina Haspell directed this change. She is career CIA and it would be ironic if the changes she instituted bring down Trump. He has not been treated well by the Bureaucracy. But it could also be said that he is so rogue, he offended their sensibilities.

Trump is in charge of the DNI. He needs to conduct an investigation into who made the change to this form. This allows people in the DNI to leak info to one another, then make false claims about everything.
No way can Trump allow a whistleblower to be a person who only "heard" about potential wrongdoing. He needs to fix this immediately, then fire all involved that approved this change.
Trump should eliminate the DNI and See Eye Aye, and create new Intelligence agencies. He can not run his presidency with constant leaks. All intel people that live in DC, NY or Cali should be fired.
Fire C. Wray too.

It's too late man. It is abut a year from another election and Trump is going to have his hands full with other matters. So there is simply not enough time for Trump and his administration to investigate and then correct any perceived wrongs. Game is about over.

This is nothing more than conspiracy theory crap.

There are two facets to a IC whistleblower complaint. First, is the filing of the original complaint itself. Secondly, is the judgement of the IC as to the "credibility" of the complaint so it can be processed up the line.

To file the original complaint itself, Title 50 requires only that the whistleblower states:
quote:

“I am a discloser with direct or indirect evidence in the above-captioned disclosure of a Title 50 alleged urgent concern.”.

The paragraph that the Federalist superimposed as part of an original complaint form is not referring to the original complaiont form but rather of the requirement for the complaint to be judged "credible".

[/u] The First Sentence reads:
quote:

In order to find an urgent concern "credible" the IC IG must be is possession of reliable first hand information.

It doesn't say that the first hand information must be contained in the original complaint. The IC may obtain first hand knowledge himself from the information provided in the original complaint. And that was exactly what happened here.

The Federalist conflated those two ideas together to make it appear that the requirement for first hand information referred to a requirement of the complaint and not to the judgement of credibility. By doing this they were able to push the theory that there was a revision that had recently been made to the complaint form -- and that's not true.

I don't have the time or the inclination at this point to post all the crap I had to wade through to figure this out.

Anyway, I just want to be on record so when I call all you true believers out for believing this worthless crap, you won't be able to say that I was sucked in too.

When sensationalized information like this comes out that sounds unbelievable, that's probably because it is unbelievable.

You know, Govt. forms just do not change themselves. They go through a process of revision which includes multiple iterations of review and comment. These reviews include mandatory sign-offs by the pertinent people responsible. All of this should be part of the public record. The paper trail is there to determine who was aware, orchestrating and planning the next move.

The original whistleblower complaint no longer requires first hand knowledge. That is what matters.

This allows a corrupt IC to start political fires at their whim by leaking info to a whistleblower then releasing cooked, planted, false twisted narratives as first hand evidence to back up the whistleblower claim. (See Steele dossier) They tried this, in secret, with the Fisa courts and used false info to launch an investigation that yielded nothing after 2 years. This is illegal and insane undermining our expectations of accountability no matter who is in power.

Now they are trying again, but now it's not before the fisa court (that bridge is burn't) but before the court of public opinion.

Lawsuits against the altered whistleblower requirements will be imminent, you can bet, because it violates rules of evidence used in making credible criminal and unethical accusations. You can't accuse based on rumors and expect whistleblower protections.

The very term whistleblower refers to someone with direct monitoring responsibilities in the control room of a industrial plant pulling the cord on the steam whistle or pulling the switch on an alarm as signal when danger is discovered. In the past these whistleblowers would be punished for making the danger public knowledge by the company they worked for. OSHA fines and costs to mitigate the danger as well as repercussions in management job security were to be avoided at all costs.
People died because companies covered up things.

Whistleblowers are now protected from legal retaliation because they have firsthand knowledge of events that corrupt management may try to hide.

Not always have Gov employees been protected by whistleblower laws. Even now they are in danger from retaliation. Obama famously pursued lawsuits against Federal whistleblowers with a passion.

Bottom line. These changes to the requirements are nefarious and done with purpose.

Would hardly saying famously.

Of course I didn't watch the news as much then.
