So libtards,Trump haters, atheist, secularists, and Christian hating intolerant arseholes can all join in and condemn it together.

Lots of room in that big tent for arrogant intolerant idiots.

Come wallow in the slop boys!

Not only is there nothing wrong with this, there is everything right!!!
1- Asking for God's wisdom, intelligence, well wishes, and guidance for the president is good! I and my church do this daily. Got a problem with this?
2- If you don't believe in the Christian God, how does this hurt? At the very least these people are surrounding another with love and support. Psychologically this is good. They are also reminding the most powerful man in the world that he is responsible for others other than himself. Philosophically this is excellent!

Now in my church laying of hands is very uncommon and probably a little uncomfortable for many. But we are taught to be tolerant of differences that are not evil or negative.

wonder if the Muzzies will bring a carpet mat, the Satanist can bring Bahamut, and the atheist can bring a bowl of sphagetti to throw across the room....you know in the spirit of getting equal time now.

This is kinda an oxymoron.

Much of what you perceive as negative is actually just different and threatens your faith due to logic. The religious can be just as intolerant as the non.

Atheist

I'm very very close to being an atheist, yet I understand the importance of prayer to people. I have the more profound comments on the first page, as an atheist I said those things. Think about that.

its a 100% worthless act.

youre asking something that doesnt exist for help instead of focusing on the problem on your own. youre wasting time and energy on something that isnt real. when you believe in this nonsense, you always have that hope that the problem will magically just go away, and thats assuming "magic" isnt your number 1 plan.

when you stop being religious you finally understand that we're on our own here, we have to make this world, we have to make our own lives and fix our own problems.

i see people sending "prayers" and nothing else to people in trouble and i lose my mind. don't chant to the fricking wall, get the frick up and go help that person. we're all in this together, we are all we have, grow up and accept that. the world will be a better place when you do.

Well that was intolerant and retarded.

First you denigrate multiple faiths. Obviously your momma didn't teach you proper manners and etiquette. If you have nothing good to say, then say nothing. Or it's better to be quiet and thought a fool than opening your mouth and removing all doubt.

Second, the President's personal faith does not require equal time. What moron taught you that concept?

Good. Christians should be praying for our leaders.

"First of all, then, I urge that supplications, prayers, intercessions, and thanksgivings be made for all people, for kings and all who are in high positions, that we may lead a peaceful and quiet life, godly and dignified in every way." -1 Tim 2:1-2

And how do you know God doesn't exist? Please show me proof. I'll hang up and listen.

Christians have donated more money, dedicated more of their lives, and organized more relief here and around the world than any atheist group has ever done. Sure there are plenty who claim Christianity that don't live it out, but there are many Christians who are dedicating their lives to help the poor and less fortunate. Of course, I am sure you make mother teressa look like a self-centered brat...

Depends on what a person is praying FOR.

All those hands look bigger than Trump's. Just kidding.

Who cares? We should pray for our leaders.
