China With a Pearl Harbor Type Preemptive Strike?

Well..... the first Pearl Harbor went over so well. Why not try it again?

It would be one of the chilling factors China would have to weigh up if decides the only way to “reunification” with Taiwan is an invasion.

I worry about China for a variety of reasons but a simultaneous conventional strike on all of our military bases in the region isn’t one of them. There would have to be cyber and nukes involved in a preemptive strike to stop us and the rest of NATO and our Asian allies from fricking their world up. I don’t think they’re suicidal and what they’ve been doing, without firing a shot, had been plenty effective as is. Just keep that up and they’ll get their wanted results.

The only thing that will bankrupt us faster than fighting one proxy war is fighting two proxy wars.
I imagine China and Russia also know this and are working to that end.

Our military was in deplorable condition when the Japs hit Pearl Harbor, nearly as bad as it is now. However, the mettle of the country and shear industrial might back then enabled us to prevail. That attitude is no longer prevalent in American society and our industrial base is in...China.

No need for a ChiCom Pearl Harbor style surprise attack. All they need to do is grease Hunter Biden's palms with massive $$. They'll have Plugs eating out of their hand.

This is what I suspect as well. We are in terrible financial position right now and two proxy wars which we've already committed to fight would doom us.

They have so little fear of this administration and the US military in general right now that they have the confidence to leak this. This is a direct result of democrat woke leadership. They know we'd spend 3 hours trying to figure out how to respond without offending Asians.

Our navy does not have to be proximate to China to choke that country into starvation. We would end all China’s world trade immediately by stopping every ship bound to and from China on the high seas anywhere in the world and there’s no other sea power who can stop us. No trade, no economy, no food.
