Dont worry about the profit we will make it up on sales.......

quote:

Reports indicate that China's profit margin on goods sold abroad has decreased. This decline is due to a combination of global economic pressures, increased trade tensions, and domestic factors, even as the overall value of China's trade surplus has reached record levels by volume.

China has been in a deflation economy for over two years now.

The huge trade surplus – a measure of how much more a country exports than it imports – stood at a record $1.2 trillion, marking a 20% jump from 2024 with Chinese companies deepening their pivot away from US consumers toward emerging markets in Southeast Asia, Africa and Latin America.

What did their trade surplus with the US do?

oh, down 19.5%, buried down in the article and curiously unnoted in your thread title

That’s exactly what I said would happen. We’re the biggest individual market but the global market is so much bigger it isn’t even funny. Downvote away.

Like a communist country wouldnt lie about that. Its almost as if they are extolling the full benefits of capitalism, while not really being capitalists

There is an old saying Reagan would say...trust but verify.

That should go with anything that any government says.

Let's face it Communist governments lie and even our government lies to us every day.

So China turbocharges the lending of a bunch of money to developing countries so they buy their goods and won't be paid back. Sounds like a sustainable model for both sides

Just posting some information regarding China. Believe it or not, not everyone is trying to post "gotchas." Weird, I know

All these numbers come from the communist Chinese government that is in a tariff war with Trump. I’m sure these are accurate, just like their reporting of Covid being released by the US Army in Wuhan..

Ah yes CNN...the ones who carried the whole pee pee tape and Steel dossier story and tried to convince everyone Biden was sharp and Trump was a Russian asset. Think I'll pass on believing this one.

They'll all echo the same story once one of them puts it out. True or not, they've done that for years.

...and then they slap you with the "multiple sources are reporting" bullshite. Their playbook is shallow, pedantic and repetitions.

Maybe it's true. Maybe it's not. But everyone knows that China's paper tiger economic bubble is even more impressive than ours.
