China Joe walks back talk of a Beijing Winter Olympics boycott after less than 24 hours

I think the Chinese should boycott the LA Olympics in 2028 given that our current President supported and voted for a war that has killed as many Iraqis as China has Uighurs. See how this works progs?

This is good in a way... Was thinking the invasion of Taiwan would wait till after the Olympics, and if we Boycotted, that China would go ahead sooner. There’s nothing to stop the wars overseas with Biden as President, but they may pause to get the Olympics in before all hell breaks loose...

I don't think politics has a place in any athletics at any level. Hence, I would be opposed to using a boycott of the 2022 Olympics as a political stand against human rights' issues. These athletes have spent their lives training for this event. Pick some other way to speak out against it. I probably won't watch it but the athletes should decide whether or not they want to participate.

Honestly we shouldn’t pull out of the Beijing Olympics... yet. We’ve got the Summer Olympics in Tokyo this year, so let’s go attend that and China isn’t going to want to be over-performed by Japan of all countries.
And this is where it gets funny: the week after the Tokyo Olympics pull the rug out from under China and cancel going to the Beijing Olympics. Half the West and the East should also cancel and ruin their Olympic Games. And the fact that Japan of all countries got to host an Olympics the very year before China did will really give the CCP the red arse. Sure they’ll probably invade Taiwan for ruining their merry games, but they were going to do that after the Olympics anyway.

No country loves the Olympics more than China. Biden should be saying he has no plans of pulling out for now. It’s just so fricking funny that the Japanese get an Olympics and China won’t would make my year. China and Japan hate each other as much as the Israelis and Palestinians do, so it’s unbelievably funny if this were to happen.
