So china increased the taxes 34% on their citizens. How will they ever be able to buy American products on their 5500/year income

Not when one-world lefitsts are involved. Their idea is that those who create better economies should then share those economic benefits with others through offshoring of manufacturing even to the point of the successful economies eventually becoming dependent on the lesser ones because "economic justice" (or some other socialist bullshite statement).

Any post that opinies on tariffs or economic matters in general that doesn't have the following tagged to it is worthless.
- Age
- Amount of money currently in stock market
- Current title / position / business ownership status
- wife or girlfriend's cup size

Wait what?
Leftists argue for domestic protectionism.
Engaging in efficient economic decision-making is certainly not a leftist concept, which is what you're describing. Making smart decisions that allow our economy to advance isn't "sharing the wealth", as it makes us richer in the end.

Free trade is a libcuck idea now, bucko. All the true conservatives want government intervention and tariffs. Moose out front should've told you.

No we aren't. They don't make anything that couldn't be made anywhere else.

I don't think this is a historical argument of leftists, but whatever.
The immigration argument is one about justice, but not economic justice. They just feel bad for people who live in shitholes and have guilt living in a successful country.
But this just furthers my point above, about how leftists aren't the ones advocating for policies that are smarter economically that make us richer (like what Bard was describing).
Leftists call that "neoliberalism" and melt about it. They argue we're taking advantage of poor countries (often using language similar to "exploitation" or, if they're reaching, "colonialism").

They also import a good amount of our walnut lumber. Walnut is the most desired domestic hardwood and the prices here in the US have shot up because we're sending a decent amount to China.
