In her defense, she didnt know. They had to pass the bill first so they could see what was in it

My company provides full coverage to me at no cost to me, including dental. BCBS. I don’t even have to pay a co pay.

Sucks to suck

Why not drop the plan and just go to the emergency room if you're on the verge of death. All you have to do is smile and nod when they ask for id or insurance card.
You can even throw in a broken English reply, No understand" to make it look legit.

Looks like it would save you 32k a year.
Were you 32k worth of sick last year? I know I wasn't.

This is what kills me about the universal healthcare people. The gov't can't balance a budget or effectively deliver the mail, but you think they can run the single most important aspect of your life (healthcare).

Crazy, free over here for anything. I pay 80p/m for the added piece of mind that I can use private hospitals for scans and consultancy on demand.

It is absolutely amazing how the government can be shown to be so inefficient, so costly, so inept, so controlling, and people are still clamoring for more.

The government has laid out...twice... that it has zero clue how to run healthcare. Zero. Not a inclination. The VA and Obamacare.

And idiots want more! Moar government!! We will do it right next time!!

Here is an experiment I can believe in. Let one of these loony states who beg for Medicare for all be a pilot. Everyone in that state has to do it. EVERYONE in that state has to participate. Politicians, celebrities, musicians right down to the fry cook at a restaurant. Everyone. If there is one single instance of preferred treatment over someone else, the pilot is terminated and it is forever taken off the table. If there is one instance of outside assistance in keeping it solvent.. the program is terminated and it is forever off the table.

The rest of the nation goes back to pre Obamacare.

Ten years. Whichever is better.. we go with it.

I’m open to that.

When you turn simple health insurance into wealth redistribution, this is what happens

The utopian socialist dream. Sure it does, honey.

Medical care will always be rationed. You apparently want the government rationing it.

How will you feel when you need a procedure but have handed over decision making to one governmental entity who thinks you’re not worth it?

Sure, we have that now with limited insurance company options.

But that’s the point. You don’t fix a monopoly with a monopoly.

Lolz, and they ALSO want unlimited immigration.

They always reference Scandinavian countries, but they never actually look at those countries. They don’t allow unlimited immigration because their social programs couldn’t handle it

They are not. 2 % is pretty standard. Of course this isn't popular because the masses want to "tar and feather" someone.

Our healthcare is expensive for several reasons:
1- We eat like crap, don't exercise enough and live horribly. I am in this group BTW

2- Our medical technology is top notch.

3- Our malpractice cost is very expensive and something most countries (especially socialized medicine systems don't have at all)

4- We go to the doctor too much when we are young and not enough when we are old. (IMO)

And if the mega millionaires at the top of the organizational chart give themselves even larger bonuses/pay the profit shrinks more. Profit =/= revenues and can be manipulated by payroll. CEO hires mentally handicapped stepson of his 4th ex wife at 2.5M/yr, down goes profit.

Does said company require you to work to receive said benefits? If so, that’s what it costs you.

Just bc it’s not itemized on your paystub doesn’t mean it’s at no cost to you. It’s all part of your total compensation package just like everyone else.

Man y'all act as if this type of stuff is soooooo common. At a large corporation, competence gets you paid, not nepotism.
