What’s wrong with what he said? It’s the absolute truth.
That the real cause of the violence against a group is the group themeselves. That's the same justification the the Muslims often use when a terrorist attacks Christians, Jews, or even Muslims of a different ideology (Shia v. Sunni).

And it's not like terrorism, or even violence and crime in general, is prevelant in New Zealand. There are such few incidents More people may have died in that attack than all other attacks combined.

Of the 6 other notable incidents listed on Wikipedia, I count only 3 (a suicide bombing in 1984; the French attack on a Greenpeace shut in 1985) including one where only the perpetrator died (Anarchist in 1982).

You people.

You're conflating two separate issues. He's talking about what the Bible teaches us, not what you think it means. The Crusades were called upon by the Pope to aid the Byzantines after yup, you guessed it, a Muslim horde captured their territory.

More to the point, if you use violence to spread Christianity, good luck finding ANY quotes from Jesus supporting it.

Islam? Yeah. That aint gonna be hard

Well he goes on to site terrorist attacks worldwide, but it's ridiculous to blame a group of policy that benefits the group for murdering dozens of innocent people of that group, especially since the terrorist wrote a manifesto that showed that he was a disturbed person who interacted with others like him on the internet.

I'm sure it would over the same if a black South African walked into a predominantly white Christian church and murdered a bunch of them and some politician blamed it on the oppressive consequences of apartheid.

I mean Palestine and Isreal have policies and have done things that are far more direct and worse than a lax migration policy. But if Isreal destroy some Palestinian's home because they claim it's their's are people going to feel the same way about the cause of the attack of that Palestinian attacks a temple (or vice versa)?

Mohammed advocates violence

If you tell me you like Mohammed, the ABSOLUTELY rational reaction is to basically think WTF. I fail to see how this isn't brazenly obvious to everyone. This doesn't mean I think they're all murderers, but they all profess to like one.

Sorry. That's just blunt fact.

But. My point is simple re: the release. The govt IS culpable because they're force feeding incompatible cultures to each other

And if I met someone tomorrow who said, "that NZ shooter seems like a great guy.....love his writings"..........I would rightly not give two fricks if that person hadn't actually killed anyone themselves.

Of course not! I'm sure a large percentage of them are quite fine with either enslaving me or having me live as a second class citizen performing menial labor and paying a substantial tax for being an infidel.

Well, not for nothing but Mohammed's teachings are abhorrent

Revising them in one's head to make one feel better doesn't really change that fact

The Qur'an has God as the first person perspective. Their 5 pillars dont include anything abhorrent. Youre sticking to thus danger narrative a little too hard

I have no problems of the criticisms of Islam, and the violent ideology too many support or tolerate.

I do have a problem blaming the murders of dozens of innocent people on anyone but the murderer and the ideas that led him to that. Because you can use that same rationalization for anyone. A Jew murdered Jesus, and Isreal has killed Palestinians. So when that guy murdered a bunch of Jews in Pittsburgh, I would find it asinine if some Canadian politician (or anyone) blamed the US policies that support policies of a Jewish country and the Jewish religion for the attack.

Anyone who agrees with the sentiments and timing of this release is a right wing extremist.

If I moved a bunch of people professing love for the KKK into a majority black neighborhood and someone in that neighborhood ended up killing a bunch of them, that dude's definitely a murderer but I most fricking certainly bear some of the blame.

No I'm not. They're two meaningless issues to be honest.

He's talking about what the Bible teaches us

I'm sure that provided great comfort to those who were subject to the spread of Christianity by the sword.

not what you think it means.

How do you know what I think it means?

That's wonderful. By the fourth crusade, they were sacking Constantinople, who were, yup, you guessed it, fellow Christians.

Honestly, the whole Islam is, Islam isn't, Christianity is Christianity isn't, discussion is tiresome.

He is correct. However, it is way to soon to be saying it, all of yall supporting him saying this right are being hypocritical because every time a shooting happen yall get mad about dems bringing up gun reform. So, how about letting the families mourn over this atrocious act without putting politics into it this early.

Well of course they do but don't many Christians celebrate Heroes of the Old Testament that went through entire towns killed everyone and put their heads on spikes? Aren't there plenty of Christians that believe God flooded the entire Earth to kill everyone? I'm not deflecting. I'm pointing out your bias
