Interesting that she’d wear that dress to an event that costs $35,000 a ticket. She could’ve paid a middle class person’s entire yearly salary but instead she chose to spend it to go see some art.

Who is considered rich is simply a matter of perspective.
Before Bernie Sanders became a millionaire, he always railed against taxing millionaires and billionaires. Once he became a millionaire, he dropped the part about taxiing millionaires and changed his focus to purely billionaires.
AOC doesn’t view herself as rich, but to a large portions of Americans, she’d be put in that category.
It reminds me of the Bible passage where Jesus said,” it’s easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle than a rich man go to heaven.”
Now when most read this passage, they envision millionaires and billionaires, but the to their rest of the world, what average Americans earn or own, would squarely put them in the camp of the rich.
It’s all a matter of perspective

Whenever someone says,” tax the rich” it shows they have a very limited understanding of economics.
I’d equate it to the guy who calls the local sports talk show and says,” we should blitz every down.” Again, showing a very limited and shallow understanding of the subject matter.
