Check in if your state never had a mask mandate.

In my opinion this is an indication of where we are when it comes to personal freedoms. How many states disseminated the best information available to their citizens to reduce and mitigate the spread of Covid19 and then allowed the decision to be made at the local level? Remember the idea of wearing a mask to prevent the spread of Covid19 was jacked up from the get go by a career government bureaucrat named Fauci who initially said/lied to the American people telling them a mask was not really effective in stopping the spread and he later did a 180 and said it was mandatory we all wear masks.
Now, back to the OP question, was your state one that had a mandatory statewide mask order? I live in Missouri and we didn’t have a statewide mask mandate and I don’t believe MO had any higher death rates or infection rates as states that did.

Oklahoma.
No state mask mandate. OKC and Tulsa metropolitan areas are still full-blown Masked Covidian cult, but statewide, no.

Did Florida have one?
I didn’t pay it any mind because we had one INSTANTLY here in St. Pete.

Forgot if VB, FL had one. So it must have been irrelevant

I don’t think the state of Florida ever had a mask mandate. State recommended them but didn’t require them.
Now, there were individual counties and cities that definitely passed mask requirements.
Please correct me if I am wrong. My memory isn’t what it used to be.

Not my state but I wanted to mention South Dakota and Kristi anyway. She never issued a statewide mandate.

While we had one in MS, I was never harassed anywhere despite never wearing one.

I love to piss off the Pro-mask people with a great fact. The rate of infection in mask-mandate States, were the same as non-mandate States. So masks work?

Georgia never had one. Need to develop a non voter fraud mandate.

Sexist and misogynistic term.

To me the biggest issue has been....how to treat once you realize you may have it. This has been the biggest failure in all of this, and killed more people than anything imo. Most likely intentional too.
Ie...I know how to handle early flu symptoms. What are the best ways to handle early CV symptoms? Places are taking tests, and telling people 5-7 days. Just go home and rest. Really?? I still don't know after a year what should be my first actions if I realize I have no taste/smell. Seriously??
Obviously it got political with the HCQ stuff and any other kind of licensed doctor treatments, and people went from doing nothing for early symptoms to hospital beds to them death.
That is what a State needs to start focusing on ASAP for the future. Otherwise these over reactions won't stop. We all clearly now know that the left/dems will kill people to stay in power.

Technically Louisiana doesn't have one but nobody's ever challenged it. First thing, the emergency Powers statute only applies to businesses, not individuals. Second, emergency medical statute outlines explicit restrictions and masks aren't listed.
Third, they're fricking outright lying to people. I had a tire shop owner in St Tammany tell me that the parish said that if he's caught with people in his store without mask that he can be fined $15,000. I don't know if that's based on some local ordinance, although, I don't think municipalities and parishes have emergency Powers, those are reserved for the states. I do know that violation of the emergency power statute in the state of Louisiana is a $500 fine, max.
This is why big box stores aren't enforcing them. They would rather pay the $500 fine then lose their customers to online retailers. A lot of people don't know this but way early on corporate for many big box retailers stated that they wouldn't refuse any customers who didn't want to wear a mask. I think their concern was liability and online competition. I know these retailers for sure, Home Depot, Lowe's, Walgreens, Walmart, CVS but there were others listed

They get really pissed on the OT when you say that. Maybe not so much anymore, but it was vicious on there for a while.
