My mom (life long liberal) is in the hospital recovering from a broken hip and obviously can't get out of bed right now. She asked me to turn on the news before I left her room yesterday so I put on Fox news for her. She just texted me to "please for the love of God turn this off. I feel like I'm being water boarded." That 15 second glimpse of the impeachment was all I've seen but I'm sure that she can fill me in later today.

I watched a bit. I really wanted to consume as much as possible, just because it's still a historic event, but I can't get into it. We all know the outcome, so it's not as riveting, and I have a feeling this stupid shite will become much more commonplace because of the precedent set.
