This is my thought as well. No way they let him win. Every registered voter in America could vote for him and they still aren’t letting him take office. There’s just no way they don’t already have this scenario mapped out.

I don't think they'll try "something else", because with Trump you're looking at a single-term guy. And that will give them time to dig up dirt on Vance.
If "something else" happens, Vance will take over, will be much more successful and popular than Biden was, and he's a charismatic speaker. I think it would guarantee him a 2nd term.
Just playing devil's advocate, better to eat the L now and try again in 4 years, than to mess around and push it to a decade.

I just don’t think this many powerful people (Ex. Elon, Tulsi, RFK Jr) would be risking all they’re risking to side with him if they didn’t have the confidence in the outcome, and they all know way more than we do.
