Presidents come and go. Better concern yourself with the powers that be behind the scenes, which I admit I don't exactly know who they are but they're there, who seem determined to drive our country off a cliff for some reasons of their own

This bullshite response everytime someone criticizes Trump is getting fricking old. Just because we believe Trump has gone away from MAGA and made a lot of mistakes doesn’t mean we want democrats back in power. He’s fricked his second term up plain and simple. Yall better hope to god republicans win mid terms because nothing else will get done except democrats going nuclear

This is one of the worst alter attempts I’ve seen on here. No sane Trump voter is gong to a message board to collectively get support to be over Trump.

I can appreciate what Trump did without believing he’s the person I want leading the country today. Both things can be true.

This silly theme is too closely imitated across a certain crowd to be merely random coincidence. Who sent you, sonny boy? Take me to your leader.

Hardly halfway through this Presidential term and you’re trying to say “he had his chance, and he failed”…..when any normal kookoo bird is well aware that “his chance” ain’t done yet. What kinda kookoo bird are you, fella?

Did he get funded to build a wall? Did he build a wall? Did Mexico pay for it. BTW... I love GEOTUS but the wall issue I haven't forgotten. As soon as libs get back in they will open the floodgates.

Trump really had 0 reason to run other than helping the country. Maybe his ego, but I think that was secondary.

You tell us, did he “build a wall?”

And whether or not Mexico “paid for it” is a matter of how you define paying for.

How does his ego play into it if he’s being controlled or is merely following orders from [insert bad man here, i.e. Bibi etc], as so, so very many among us confidently proclaim? Seems like ego plays no active and actual part in that scenario.

Some

EXCEPT As of late 2026, the Trump administration has approximately 550 to 600 miles of planned primary barrier left to build to achieve its targeted "end state" for the southern border. That's slighly wider than a mack truck

First, I’ve never claimed Trump is anyone’s puppet, so you’re arguing against a position I didn’t take.

But even if I had, why would being someone’s puppet mean you can’t have an enormous ego? Those aren’t opposites. One concerns your motivation for seeking power; the other concerns how independently you exercise it. History is full of ambitious, vain political figures who were nevertheless controlled or constrained by someone more powerful. Quisling literally tried to seize power and declare himself head of state before ultimately heading a Nazi puppet government.

If anything, ego can give whoever is pulling the strings something to work with: praise, status, titles, access and the appearance of importance. So I’m not sure how “maybe he’s controlled by someone” is supposed to rebut “ego helped motivate him to seek the presidency.” It doesn’t address the argument at all.

I think you can be the biggest MAGA Trump supporter on earth and still admit the guy is extremely ego-driven. You can love him, vote for him, defend everything he does, whatever. But pretending ego, status, attention, and personal validation aren't a huge part of what drives him is just silly. You don't have to deny every obvious flaw or personality trait to support someone.

FFS, the degree to which people have lost the ability to think anything but binary terms is depressing AF.

Grow up.

But my man, while you say it’s perfectly okay to criticize a figure, and heck, possibly even support him or her otherwise, is it not also okay for someone else to disagree with that particular criticism? Or perhaps even for that someone else to criticize said criticism?? I agree with your premise, but for it to be a fully legit premise that road must run both ways.

Have I stopped you from disagreeing, or did I simply respond to your question? I'm confused what you mean.

He could be helped by using commas correctly but he’s probably drunk.
