Pretty much the case and Maxine and the press doxxing made his appeal even better.

What felony are they saying was committed? Honest question.
Yeah, where is that charge?
Or is murder the felony in itself?

3rd Degree Assault

As a white male, I’d rather go into the frontlines in Iran/ME than be a cop.

No. One man consumed an assload of drugs. The other didn’t intend to kill him.

So where is that charge? That seems to be the basis for the 2nd degree murder, or am I completely off base?

If I was a white LEO I would never stop, question, or arrest a black again.

It's incorporated into the murder charge. So basically, the jury has to determine if he is guilty of the 3rd degree assault to be able to find him guilty of the murder charge.

No, they found Chauvin guilty because all evidence proved beyond any reasonable doubt that his actions killed a man.
Nope.

Looking at it like that, I’m actually not surprised at the murder 2 conviction.
I think you actually have to convict on murder 2 if you convict manslaughter 2 in this case because of the nature of the offense.
The murder 3 I don’t understand.

White men will not get justice in this country again. If you can't see the need for solidarity against this satanic empire by now, then nothing will convince you.

Unless I'm reading this wrong, it's in the middle of the "assault scale" and therefor, would not cause death.
You seem to know what you are talking about here and I'm honestly trying to understand the mental gymnastics that went into the verdict.

Easy out for the jury and this will be overturned on appeal
If you think that it was an easy out for the jury just wait to you see how easy an out it is for a very public appellate court judge to say “affirmed” and safely go back to their family. Judge isn’t overturning shite.

Nah, man, he was negligent but not in the middle of a felonious act.

Poor dude will probably get life without parole, but now he will have to watch out for the brothers in the pen.

I'm not a criminal attorney, but I believe it's kind of all encompassing in a situation like this. Meaning, if you caused his death, then you obviously caused bodily harm in the process.

It doesn’t mean the assault caused death in that explicit statute.
Basically, Chauvin had his knee on Floyd beyond what was deemed reasonable. Floyd was substantially injured, Assault 3, felony.
Floyd died during commission of a felony, but it wasn’t chauvins intent. Murder 2
Chauvin created an unsafe scenario through negligent behavior, intentionally, resulting in Floyd’s death. Death was accidental but behavior was intentional. Manslaughter 2.
The murder 3 I absolutely don’t understand because I don’t get the depraved mind component.
