As an independent voter who didn't vote for Trump in 2016, you and your kind have literally done nothing to eliminate the distance between me and the left. You've only inched me in the other direction.

My guess is that he went in heavy, made his point, May reevaluated, Trump won his point, and he became pointedly courteous for all to see.

I would love to see more substance on this board than raving about the size of the pumpkin’s penis or testosterone level. I await without much hope for that to happen.
I freely admit that much of my posting is in reaction to the idolatry and general nuttiness that now infests the board.
When I first joined TD, there was the occasional serious discussion on this board, even if it was
over-heated at times. Aahhh the good ole days . . .
No crackpot Deep State conspiracy rants, and at least politics was discussed within something approaching reasonable norms, rather than this tinhorn faux iconoclastic, juvenile fervor that makes real discussion nigh impossible
I freely admit that much of my posting is in reaction to the idolatry and general nuttiness that now infests the board.

Its nice to see you can at least admit that. And I'll agree with much of your post about the ridiculous shite that gets posted here.
But you also have to remember this is a majority Right board. By sheer numbers there are going to be plenty of silly threads made by right leaning posters.
On the contrary, the amount of shite flinging, substance lacking, completely delusional threads and posts by the few left leaning posters here paints y'all in a worse light IMO.
