I am encouraged by them having a person of interest in custody. Perhaps he/she can give them the info they need on the shooter.

There are individuals who do this type of hit based solely on money. Political leanings mean nothing to these people. If someone told them to go after George Soros or whomever on the left, these people would gladly accept the money for it without concern. The old Italian mafia was littered with individuals who were certifiable psychopaths. Look up the iceman Richard Kuklinski from New Jersey. Back in the 1980’s he walked up to some random guy on the street and shot him with a nail gun just to test out his new weapon. Chilling what these types are capable of.

Come on.. there's a reason this didn't happen at LSU or Ole Miss (his next tour stops).

There is a video I posted a page of 2 back of a man being arrested by Provost police with a rifle and a bag of things. Maybe, maybe not who they are discussing but his arrest happened during the press conference which would make the “no one in custody” statements make sense when X was already saying there was someone in custody.
My guess is it’s an accomplice of some sort or someone who just has some information. I don’t think it’s the actual shooter but could be wrong. Typical day of confusion.
