Carjacking Suspect in Critical Condition After Shootout with Armed Driver

The Philadelphia Inquirer reports a 16-year-old carjacker allegedly tried to take a 60-year-old man’s “white Pontiac at gunpoint…around 7:45 p.m. at Sharpnack and Cherokee Streets.”
The man, a concealed carry permit holder, pulled a gun and exchanged gunfire with the alleged carjacker.
The suspect was shot in the chest and in the leg.
NBC Philadelphia reports that a total of 17 rounds were fired in the gun battle.

This the only way we will stop carjacking is for the jacket to get shot dead be it a 16 yr old or a 14 yr old they have to learn a lesson.
Give the 60 yr old a $25,000 award so this can be repeated until it turns the tide.

A guy I played baseball with in high school's father in law shot and killed a 16 year old would be carjacker at a gas station in East Memphis several years ago. The kid had him held at gunpoint and took his eyes off of him, allowing the FIL to get the drop on him. He was never charged with anything. The worst thing was the comments under articles about it questioning why he had to kill the kid
