That crap was not an accident. Period.

Just look how that bridge failed. Clearly it was a controlled demolition. Ship bunker oil isn’t hot enough to melt cement peers!
Did I do it right?

“They have figured out how to bring us down. As long as you stay away from the teeth of the US military, you can pick the US apart. We are arrogant and ignorant - lethal combination. Obama said they would fundamentally change America and they did. We are in a free-fall ride on a roller coaster right now - no brakes - just picking up speed.”
The footage shows the cargo ship never got in the approach lane in the channel. You have to be in the channel before you get into that turn. Location was precise/deliberate: chose a bend in the river where you have to slow down and commit yourself - once you are committed in that area there is not enough room to maneuver.

System was hacked at a precise time. The things that happened after were captain and crew trying to react to it in real time.

I’m not being hyperbolic, the owners of the ship get their money, then another company manages the ship and receives less money taking into account fuel costs, berthing charges, maintenance and crewing costs. The management company is operating on tight margins at times.
#1 I would argue that traditionally this transit wasn’t a hazardous area. It has been transited numerous times per day without issue.
#2 Any additional fees will be passed on to the consumer. I’m sure you’ve broken down all of the variables to arrive at your pennies per unit cost analysis. If we took your hazardous area argument we could require tugs for any vessel going through the English Channel, Malacca, English Channel, or the Straits of Gibraltar. These costs will accumulate lots of pennies . This ship had a three hour transit up the Chesapeake Bay without any known issues. Before you go and add fees to ships let’s let them finish the investigation and find out what the root cause is.

Any costs incurred due to having tugs escort ships through hazardous areas would be extremely minimal to the end user. Not even pennies. Less than a penny per product in most cases using your example of consumer goods.

You can make fun of it chief. The tide and currents with the velocity and weight of the vessel would have never allowed that sudden shift in course like it did. Something caused that on purpose. Period.

BMW builds ships now?

A giant Russian Space Magnet was Activated and pulled the ship right into the bridge.
How could we let the Russians build a Space Magnet and we didn't know about it?

I have my captains license do you? I am laughing at you. What happened here is no accident. Not sure what happened but it was not an accident. Whether it be intentional from the captain/crew or external as in someone accessing control of the ships navigation remotely I do not know. Either way it was not a “accident”.

Can’t remember the exact displacement loaded.

What tonnage master’s license do you have?

Attention is not what I seek. Calling out someone that does not know what they are talking about on a message board for it is what I seek and did. Either way this was not an accident period. Sorry you disagree.

The pilot and most of the crew were transgender as well.
