A young(20's) radio DJ on the hiphop/r&b station was talking about the iPhone 11 colors, and made that comment as she went to commercial.
I was surprised to hear it, but I'm more excited that she could make the connection between capitalism and kick arse products that people want....you know she didn't get taught that in school. Maybe there's a light at the end of the tunnel after all.

I have an iphone for work and I hate it. I do not get the appeal. My galaxy note 10 is just so much better in terms of functionality

I prefer the weight and feel of an iphone to plastic androids. There’s something about the weight and feel of iphones that make them seem much more substantial and engineered than any androids I have owned.
Also, my androids crap out at around 2 years. Whereas, my current iphone is going on 4 years, and I handed my 6 yo iphone 5 down to my daughter and it keeps a charge and works as well as the day it was purchased. Both phones are on their original batteries.

I use both for work. Android all the way.
But, they are two different markets. Simple and easy vs customizable and powerful. Two different markets, so the nerd hate on either is unwarranted. Just enjoy the one you like.

Buying $100 Android phones is the problem. The high end Androids (Especially Samsung's flagships) are materially superior

I have nothing against Apple products. I just find the fan boys interesting. You obviously are not one of those.

No thanx, I like my Verizon flip phone just fine, and my bill is 30 bucks per month.
And you can get any color you want, as long as it's black.

I hear you. Why must manufacturers give you stuff you dont need. Like automatic door locks? I dont have them for my house, why do I need them for my car, if I want the doors locked Ill do it. The odds of me locking my keys in the car are far greater than being carjacked, and if I go through that part of town.....I lock the doors.

In the case of cars, they prefer to make them all, with the same equipment. It's just cheaper to build them that way. I don't care for power windows, or door locks either, and I don't need a security system on my vehicle. Nowadays, you are pretty much going to get it though, even if you don't like it.
The phone thing though, you can still be pretty basic with that.

Not so sure about that. There are plenty of good teachers out there, you just never hear about them.
