This is a terrible example of medical assisted suicide - this particular instance, not your misleading thread. But I support it in certain circumstances. One of my best friends got breast cancer at 18 yrs old. Went through surgeries, chemo, remissions and reoccurrences for the next decade. Docs finally told her there’s nothing more we can do, you have maybe a year. This was 20 years ago but they found a doc in Hawaii that would do it. The whole family spent a beautiful 2 weeks in Hawaii and then she ended it with all of her loved ones by her side. A terminal diagnosis like that? It’s how I’d want to go out too

Most would agree in a vacuum with a false dichotomy. But to be done so quickly and without any attempt at oversight or treatment is not a situation society needs to find itself in.
The government shouldn’t be anywhere near sanctioning or allowing assisted suicide in non-terminal cases.

Crohn’s disease isn't normally deadly is it?
If it was a late stage cancer and death was 100% certain. I could understand it.
That just looks like the doctor exploited the guy's depression. Guy needed to stop drinking and seek help for his depression. Not death.

Dr. Kevorkian is now mainstream. I am not necessarily opposed to allowing people with degenerative diseases to go in peace, but the entire thing seems dystopian. How many people who are just "depressed" are being snuffed out just in order to harvest their organs or get them off the public dole. The Left is 100% a globohomo death cult. Their banner is the LGBT flag. Antifa is their SS Waffen foot soldiers and people like Greta Thunberg is their cultural political propagandists.
