Link? Do you really need the plethora of calls to local LE and warnings to the FBI linked to you? He would have been flagged and unable to legally purchase a firearm had anyone followed up.

Made up of individuals, hence the proper individual right interpretation. Which the v. Heller decision was unanimous in.

Utterly bankrupt, like I said. A ban will supposedly make a difference, but a gun free zone make none. A ban will make a difference, but laws against murder make none. A ban will make a difference, but dozens of calls to law enforcement made none. A ban will make a difference, but an informant telling law enforcement he was going to "explode" made none. A ban will make a difference, but protecting kids the same way we do politicians, money, jewelry, and all the rest of society will make none.

If a ban will make a difference, then we wouldn't need one, because making murder against the law would do the trick. Newsflash for the ignorant: a ban is just another thing the evil, demented, and criminal will ignore.

Militia? Well, what do you think their intent was? Citizens driving out invaders? Or do you think the Revolutionary War was on the front of their minds? Why was the Revolutionary War fought?

The right of the people collectively in the context of a well regulated militia. A well regulated militia would allow individuals to possess weapons but they'd have no individual right to one, and each state government could and would regulate those possessions according to current exigencies.

The Heller decision was not unanimous, and it overturned several previous Supreme Court decisions that opposed an individual right to own weapons.

Yea, this isn't the only time the right of the people is used so you may want to reconfigure what you think they mean by that.

There's a First Bank of Dumbass in Dumbass, Louisiana. There's a sign outside the front door that says "please don't rob us." Nothing else. No security guards, no locks on the vaults, no form of prevention except that sign.

Huh, that sounds awfully familiar. Wait, hold up, it's coming to me...

Ah, one of those great progressive ideas instituted by statists because we have to think of the children, you know.

Well, the Dumbass Bank keeps getting robbed, despite that sign control.

Just like how laws don't seem to deter criminals with the intent to, oh hell, I don't know commit a crime.

So, what would make anybody think FURTHER controls would work if the one in place already doesn't?

Spoken like a true statist, when their statist ideas don't work, we double down and suggest more statist control.

Repeating something and expecting different results is the definition of insanity.

But the children, who will think of the children.

That is as wrong as could possibly be. Thank God we have a conservative lean on the Supreme Court. The perversion and activism from liberals tears away at American sovereignty.

We don’t need more laws. Just enforce what we already have on the books.

That was the interpretation by the Supreme Court for over 200 years until rightwing activists violated its original intent.

This cannot be stated enough, wether it’s gun laws or immigration laws. JUST ENFORCE THE LAWS!
