I’m old and country as the day is long. But the Metallica concert I attended with my son in law a few years ago was a blast! Damn drones flew out of the stage and all over the Birmingham Jefferson Convention Center. Coolest thing I’ve ever seen.

I’m drawing a blank. I would say no one that deserves a Super Bowl show, but after tonight bring on Creed.

The only white rock band you will ever see at the Super Bowl again is someone like the overrated shitty leftist U2.

Metallica would be great.
Def Leppard is still touring. That would be awesome.
Also, Bon Jovi would be great.
Any of those would be cool.

The oldest members were born in '63.
Makes em more GenX than boomer in my book.
The music is 100% GenX.
Now get the frick off my lawn.

I think it should always be a singer. No bands no rappers or whatever that was I just watched.
Can have dancers. Or maybe like the national champion HS or college cheerleaders.

I propose a Lee Greenwood tribute. Medleys of “Proud to be an American” by all our favorite artists. And then the great man himself could come out himself and tearfully sing his signature song, the greatest song ever written, while we all weep and beg for more.
Either that or a wet tshirt contest like a proper country.

I saw Creed this past summer in Virginia Beach and they were great. Def Leppard still puts on a good show also.

They'll probably try and book Linkin Park now that they have a female lead singer.
