The House can send a letter to the DOJ after the GOP takes control in January and request that the DOJ drop the charges. I believe the DOJ still maintains prosecutorial discretion.

Republicans don't have control of the House until Members are sworn in when the new Congress begins in January. I hope they investigate J6 and publicize all the video and evidence that the Dims refused to release.

Wray has all but admitted to having "confidential human sources" dressed as MAGA inside the capitol before the "insurrection" began. Indictments for treason should roll once the truth becomes known, but we all know that the Republican establishment won't take a hard line or actions to punish these criminals.

Congress does not run the DoJ.

Separation of Powers and all that.

I never would have believed our country would imprison people the way the progfilth did in DC. It's eye-opening.

Judging by examination of the DOJ activity that we know about for the last few years alone, it seems that the DemocRatic party "runs" the department now and functions quite counter to the concept of "justice".

Those dastardly insurrectionists almost took over the United States with their Trump flags and red hats.

Thank God the armed police shot the female veteran who was carrying a Trump flag.

His tired narrative and defense of unworthy positions by his heroes is stale. It could not be labeled as anything other than disinformation by anyone with half of a brain cell. Surely, he is intelligent enough to understand the verbiage of garbage that he spouts here on this board, all the while looking like a leftist clown. He and his ilk are no friends to this country and deserve the criticism they get for their defense of idiocracy prevalent at this point in our nation's history.

What do you think the House of Representatives has the power to do with the 900+ cases being prosecuted over this incident?
