The gun has no other purpose then shooting people. It has been used in the last 3 mass shootings. No reason for a civilian to own one.

Handguns have no purpose other than shooting people. If that is chosen as a weapon to use against unarmed civilians in a gun free zone, you will start arguing there is no reason for a civilian to own one of those either.
