But they didn't. No "crime" was ever named.

You mean more than the 18 the House called and still couldn't put together a coherent case? How many more do you need?

a socialist hack with no knowledge of the law.

surely you have heard the term "innocent until proven guilty."
means only that a defendant has a presumption of innocence.
which is why the outcome of a trial is "not guilty." instead of "innocent."

Trump was not allowed any type of defense in the house chamber while the clown act was going on.

He didn't allow his people to testify. If the truth would have worked as a defense for him, he would have let them testify. You are spouting Fox 'News' spin. That is not the reality of the situation. He absolutely was given an opportunity to defend himself. Also, without Google, what is the definition of Socialism? Guarantee you can't tell me without looking it up.

No. No he can’t. Why would you think that’s a possibility?

hiding documentation and prevented witnesses from testifying

That’s called not complying with subpoenas, dumbass. If the house really wanted them they would have went to court instead of retracting the subpoenas, but they didn’t really want them because they know Trump did nothing wrong. Y’all are fricking idiots.

He doesn’t have too, innocent until proven guilty. If the house actually wanted them to testify they would have went to court. Once again, you have no idea how this works and you’re an idiot.

The Senate did not hear from Witnesses man, don't you remember that whole shitshow a few weeks ago? If you mean the House hearing, at least 4 white house staffers defied subpoena, with several more threatening to sue if ordered to testify, which would've had them tied up in court for years. I'm pretty sure that even Fox news reported on that one.

They were never under an official subpoena because the impeachment inquiry wasn’t voted on yet. You need to go and do a little research before you post.

Did you read the full article? Some showed up when they got an official subpoena not just a request. That’s where they trick the democratic sheep that listen to them. Trump told them not to go when it was just a request not under subpoena. After subpoena, he has every right to invoke executive privilege.

That is why they hold closed portions of the hearings. Claiming executive privilege in a closed hearing is an absolute joke.

Might be a good political distraction. Sue them and have them go ballistic for a couple months.

It's nothing more than an indictment by a grand jury.

Is there any other jurisdiction where you can sue a grand jury for an indictment they handed down, after the accused was acquitted?

The underlying gist of this thread has flown over some people's head.
