Can someone explain to me the Quid Pro Quo issue?

This is what makes the world go around, but it's a crime for the President to do so? God forbid if JFK hadn't removed missiles from Turkey in exchange for the Soviets removing their missiles from Cuba.

the QPQ isn't even the real issue
the crux of the matter is if this investigation was for personal/campaign reasons
if it was, then Trump is in trouble
if it was not, then Trump engaged in foreign policy

If Biden wasn’t running for office, then nothing is wrong with it. Since he is, this is a big no no! However, nothing is wrong for Dems to align with foreign powers to dig dirt on their political foes...

The transcript shows no QPQ. The President of the Ukriane said there was no QPQ.
However, if you loathe Donald Trump, it's implied that's what he was doing.
The real bombshell was cast by Rand Paul when talking about the WB and outing him. Apparently the WB was present, or could have been witness, to aides counseling Joe Biden that his son's profiting in Ukraine was a conflict of interest.
