Nobody is saying he got covid at the rally BECAUSE he didn't wear a mask. They are saying he was vocally against wearing masks and was proud of it. Others following that line of thinking could have infected him at the rally.

This moves a bit away from Cain's situation, but this is not true. It is very often feasible to determine where someone got the virus. It's just resource intensive. If you got it COVID in S. Korea. They'd figure out exactly when and where a good chunk of the time.

I didn't imply anything. I simply said others following his line of thinking could have infected him. He was railing against a practice of wearing masks and that's possibly the reason he ended up getting infected-others also refusing to wear masks.
