Can Anyone Explain Fox News’ John Roberts’ Complete Utter Meltdown Yesterday?

SIAP but...
Guy asks Kayleigh 7 times if Trump Will Condemn white supremacy. She answers his question after the first asking, providing multiple dates with multiple quotes of Trump condemning white supremacy.
He then continues and asks her 6 more times if Trump will condemn white supremacy. She says Trump already has multiple times, as she just said. Roberts says no, he hasn’t. Kayleigh says yes, he has, and Roberts is trying to contrive a false narrative. Roberts continues to argue with Kayleigh.
Afterwards, Kayleigh tweets to John Roberts a story by his wife, also a reporter, where his wife writes “Trump condemns white supremacy” and says “John, I can also refer you to your wife.”
Then, later on Fox News, still not letting it go, Roberts brings up criticism he has received on twitter and yells:
TO YOU PEOPLE ON TWITTER I DONT CARE!
STOP BLAMING THE MEDIA!
I’M TIRED OF THIS!
To wit, the Fox News hostess, after staring open jawed at Roberts, says “Okay, John Roberts is tired.”

Maybe it’s just me, but John Roberts just lost every last shred of respectability and integrity he may have had left.

I watched and had somewhat of a different take on it.
It looked like he was just asking for a simple statement condeming white supremacy without any double talk.
I've watched him over the years and never found him to be a leftist.

Roberts and Wallace are friends and Trump, along with many others, shite on Wallace for that weak and disgraceful performance as moderator. That was supposed to be a crowning moment for Wallace and it wasn’t. He has been getting hammered and I think he, Roberts, and certain others at Fox News are upset.

It was really bizarre, and I was pretty surprised. At first I was thinking, ok, Trump has denounced hate groups in general, but he’s never said the words “white supremacy”. And that’s what Roberts and Chris Wallace were trying to elicit from him. And I started wondering why he wouldn’t say it, myself. But then I was watching Laura Ingraham last night, and she had several videos of Trump denouncing the Klan, David Duke, and white supremacy. Videos from as 2017 and more recent. So there it was, for all the people demanding it and asking why he never has. Exactly how many times does he have to do it to satisfy these hacks?
