Good stuff buddy. I’m doing my part as I see fit in not paying taxes to this fraudulent government. I hope a million others who actually pay taxes join me.

But regardless, I know I told the communists to frick off.

God Speed and good luck brother!

You do realize that democrats and leftists have been pissing on nearly all of the Constitution for decades, correct? We just witnesses them taking a giant shite on election laws, due process, and a host of other laws, correct? We just had the Supreme Court tell several states that they have no standing, in a case involving other states violating their own election laws to install an illegitimate president.

We have half of the politicians in this country openly pledging to violate the Second Amendment, and cheering as their corporate cronies violate the free speech rights of millions of Americans, while simultaneously cheering as the government persecutes those who inconvenience their pet groups by standing up for their own rights.

As it stands, sadly the only way the Constitution is any kind of solution is to give it teeth, as the Constitution has none. If we changed, “A well regulated militia, being necessary to the security of a free state, the right of the people to keep and bear arms shall not be infringed.” to include “Any such infringement shall immediately be remedied by the public hanging of any and all tyrannical elected officials participating in such infringement.” then the Constitution could be part of the solution. As it is, certain people simply ignore the Constitution, and are protected by like minded tyrants, whose job it is to protect not the tyrants, but the Constitution and the American people.

One goal of HR1 is to REMOVE money out of politics and especially dark money. You know, so the deep state can't buy politicians as easy. But let's pretend that we don't like that, since it was introduced by a Democrat and McConnell won't allow it in the Senate.

This is like a race to see who can become the biggest hypocrite. Complain about the deep state funding Democrats and then complain when Democrats try to do something about it.

I'll be fair, there's a lot I like about combatting dark money and capping donations. I don't polarize things towards Democrat / Republican point by point. They're both fricking us. Overall the Democrats are trying to ensure they never lose again. 16 year old vote, allowing former felons to vote, etc. That's they fly in the ointment.

Besides, this isn't overall about HR 1. That just hastens things

Ingenious in it's non-partisan, political neutrality. Hard to slander, deny, defame, incriminate ANYONE/ANYTHING for not wanting, supporting FREEDOM!

It shifts what power the constitution allows from a known, corrupt & hated playing field (Washington) and cheating players, teams, referees (Politicians/Judges/FBI) to another field (States) full of motivated, home town players dedicated/determined to sacrifice, walk on & fight like hell for the opportunity to just be a part of, contribute, help THE TEAM to reach, obtain a fair, winnable goal/victory of Freedom! To work/compete to learn, improve, help, advance/maintain an honorable, worthwhile cause with clear rules, penalties fairly called, equitably enforced - ALL PLAYED/WATCHED/CHEERED ON A LEVEL PLAYING FIELD! To be given a honest chance to Walk On and maybe play, contribute for a role/position on the State Team.

A Place Where Generations of Local, Like-Minded Neighbors Come Together To Protect, Pass Down, Be Proud of, Cheer For, Respect, Play & Work For - HOME!

Ha thanks. Definitely designed to be slander proof. Here’s all the elements of the design, some that you listed:

1. Slander proof
2. Bipartisan (radical left won’t like but some in moderate left will)
3. We are strong at the state legislature level
4. Nonviolent way of navigating through our political divide
5. Legal per constitution
6. A different social contract - this is We the People drafting the declaration, showing strength in numbers, and mandating politicians follow it, and not just us choosing between their platforms. Basically, we’re not listening any more - we’re telling
7. Attacks a real problem
8. Sets up 50 laboratories of democracy
9. The only thing I can think of that enough conservatives and moderates can get behind that can win elections going forward
10. A movement meant to bypass money so it can stay pure - plan is to get covered by conservative then moderate media
11. Intentionally not a political party so it doesn’t undermine how things will shape up and won’t split conservative votes

I’m in. Will do what I can. We have to do something.

This declaration - Needs a very clear list of usurpations. Not just by the government but by this techno-oligarchy that they are planning. It seems to me the hardest part is getting folks to understand the “why” because the media does that for them.

Not just that, but we need to be able to prepare for the gamesmanship. The traps and the misrepresentations. That’s difficult to do on open, monitored forums. We need a real tavern.

Look up “Convention of States”. Very organized and been doing work for several years that mimic much of what you outlined.

The "Convention of States" is working at the grassroots level on similar issues.

LINK

WHAT’S A CONVENTION OF STATES ANYWAY?
Article V of the U.S. Constitution gives states the power to call a Convention of States to propose amendments. It takes 34 states to call the convention and 38 to ratify any amendments that are proposed. Our convention would only allow the states to discuss amendments that, “limit the power and jurisdiction of the federal government, impose fiscal restraints, and place term limits on federal officials.”

WHY CALL A CONVENTION OF STATES?
Simple: to bring power back to the states and the people, where it belongs. Unelected bureaucrats in Washington, D.C. shouldn’t be allowed to make sweeping decisions that impact millions of Americans. But right now, they do. So it all boils down to one question: Who do you think should decide what’s best for you and your family? You, or the feds? We’d vote for the American people every single time.

SO ARE YOU MAKING ANY PROGRESS?
You better believe it! Since the Project launched in 2013, we’ve been spreading like wildfire. With over 3 million supporters nationwide, we have petition signers in every single state house district across America. We’re actively working in all fifty states to pass the Convention of States Application! Check out our latest stats below.

WHO’S BEHIND THIS THING?
The American people. We thought you’d never ask! The Convention of States Project is first and foremost a movement of grassroots citizens who are fed up with business as usual in D.C. We’re funded by thousands of everyday patriots who have committed their lives, fortunes, and sacred honor to protecting liberty for future generations.

Thanks, those who said 'in' already or want to be in.. DM me on twatter at @derekb81. I'll share the first draft directly to you and let you suggest changes. If you don't have twatter, I'll need your email. I'll reply that I have it then you can edit your post and remove your email. I'll be checking regularly throughout the day so will catch it quick. We'll chop recruiting at about 7-8.

The link to Convention of States is interesting. I started to check it out. If we're aiming for same thing and they're further ahead, then we'll decide if our best efforts are joining forces with them or if we have a separate effort worth pursuing.

Definitely does. Here's a preview of just 7 of them and there's 15 total in the pre first draft

* They have disregarded the Tenth Amendment of the Bill of Rights which limits the power of the federal government and defaults it to the states, instead letting it dominate the role of sovereign states in the last 100 years. This has deprived the American people the ability to unite as a nation while respecting individual differences in local governance, and has instead made conflict amongst its diverse people inevitable
* They have further concentrated power within the federal government by bypassing Congress via the excessive use of Presidential executive orders
* They have abused their offices for personal gain and have ignored the needs of common Americans in favor of special interest groups and monied interests
* They have accumulated a massive national debt with no plans to manage it and which will be a severe burden to our children. They have done nothing to decouple our prosperity from the dollar being the world’s reserve currency, setting the stage for severe adverse consequences
* They write and pass laws they do not even read or debate on, sometimes for purposes of political grandstanding
* They have spied on their own citizens digitally with opaque organizations and have persecuted those who have revealed such offenses
* They have interfered with sovereign nations overseas, such as interfering in elections and toppling governments, to serve the selfish interests of financial institutions and corporations against the wishes of the people of those nations
