Then watch Silicon Valley move to the Ozarks.

Poor people have zero responsibility in liberal eyes.

The bigotry of low expectations is the left's mantra.

I just came back from 5 years in the future. Some headlines I saw there were..

"California demands that all local businesses must give the state 99% of their profits"

"President Trump via twitter: We need to build a wall around California. California is a loser state. Sad!".

Eventually everyone who works for a living will realize that the democrat party is nothing but a bunch of mooches.

It's a wonder that companies still want to be based there. If this passes I hope they start with the film industry. Let's see how loud those liberal blowhards holler then.

I'm just confused why so many businesses continue to leave California????

quote:

WHY $15B CORP FLEES CALIFORNIA......

quote:
“The move is being made for business reasons, such as lower taxes and the business friendly environment,” Noble told the Dallas Business Journal. “The rates in downtown are also less than in the suburbs and the quality of life in downtown Dallas has a buzz about it.”

So, California’s so-called “hostile business environment” continues to drive thousands of companies away.

A study conducted by Joseph Vranich, president of Spectrum Locations Solutions, a consultant firm in Irvine, Calif., quantified the trend of companies fleeing California and determined how, and to what extent, it is caused by California’s “hostile” business environment.

quote:

When Toyota announced it was uprooting three California plants and consolidating its headquarters in Plano, Texas, the Wall Street Journal quoted Brown as saying, “We’ve got a few problems. We have lots of little burdens and regulations and taxes.

“But smart people figure out how to make it.”

The Journal’s reply: “California’s problem is that smart people have figured out they can make it better elsewhere.”

OK, so Silicon Valley has enjoyed a boom in the last few years. However, as The Economist noted last year, “whereas venture-capitalists and coders may be rushing to California, others cannot wait to leave,” as the state still faces substantial problems of its own making.

The problem comes when the people who left California to escape a hostile business environment vote for Democrats and the same policies that caused the hostile business environment they just fled.

This is absolutely the kind of thing that should be left to the states and not the federal government along with occupational licensure, education, safety regulation, taxes, and minimum wage among many other things. Citizens in this country are allowed to freely move between the states so that they can vote with their feet where they would prefer to be.

They don’t. There has been a mass exodus for years. Eventually tech will bolt too.

Look up California's GDP growth the first 2 qtrs of Trump vs. the country's. The states lag a quarter so they will come out for qtr 3 when qtr 4's GDP comes out.

Their growth is lagging badly.
