I've two VERY liberal friends who just moved back from San Fran. I had dinner with them the other night and they all but said San Fran is turning into...wait for it...shite hole.
Crime, high taxes, poverty, homeless, etc. These were their observations.
Of course when I asked they said they still plan to vote democrat.
My point: they can "protest" all they want, but at the end of the day, the overwhelming majority are going to vote out democrats and vote in more democrats, then be surprised when they get more of the same.

The conservatives in Cali do not have a voice. It sucks. There are not a whole lot but they are there in the rural areas and they are constantly shamed. I been trying to get a lot of my fam n friends to move but it's bad in oregon washington and Nevada now. Moving is hard for the people I know living up in the mountains it's so beautiful and they love the small town feel but really state is so screwed up.

California imports more electric power from neighbors than any state in the country. Anywhere from 1/4 to 1/3.
