California lawmaker wants reparations proposal to be a nationwide ‘blueprint,’ beyond ‘financial compensation’
ACalifornia lawmaker and member of the reparations task force believes the state's proposal for reparations will be the roadmap for the rest of the country.
Assemblymember Reginald Jones-Sawyer told Fox News Digital California Reparations Task Force will be the "benchmark" for other states and cities considering reparations around the country.
"I genuinely believe as California goes, so goes the rest of the country," Jones-Sawyer said. "And so, our reparations task force … will be the benchmark that every state that's looking into this, every city, municipality across the country, and then the national discussion will take what we put together, our blueprint, and then try to determine as a base what the national reparations should be."
In 2020, California Assembly Bill 3121 established a Task Force to Study and Develop Reparation Proposals for African Americans. The task force, which consists of nine members, has met over the last year to discuss appropriate reparations for the state.
These reparations, Jones-Sawyer said, should be more than financial compensation. He added that there are 13 areas that the committee is looking at in terms of appropriating remedies for African-Americans. Among them are housing discrimination, education and public safety.

650,000+ lives lost wasn't enough.
Civil Rights laws wasn't enough.
'Electing' Obama 2x's wasn't enough.
Nothing will ever be enough for these race grifters.

Meanwhile, San Francisco’s reparations committee has proposed paying each Black longtime resident $5 million and granting total debt forgiveness due to the decades of "systematic repression" faced by the local Black community.
So there goal is to make all black people independently wealthy overnight?
A new home in San Fransisco averages 1.4 million and change
So all black people there would have the ability to buy a home with cash and have 3.5 million in change to spare?
That's a lot more than undoing the wrongs of the past (that these people haven't really had to endure)

Yea.. the rest of the country has 6 dollar gas…. Burdensome building regulations… an upcoming ban on freaking gas powered lawn equipment…. A date in the future that gas vehicles will be banned for sale… a turnstile “justice” system… statewide sanctuary status..
What an asinine take. Be sure to include your new residents in your plan when they flood in!

Using my late grandaddy’s jargon: “If California’s fur it, I’m agin it.”

Start with African nations that started selling their own.

Why wouldn’t it withstand judicial scrutiny? “Ancestors that were slaves” would be rational basis review.

As a conservative, let me make a note to other conservatives out there.
I seriously beleive the only thing standing between the United States eventually becoming Zimbabwe in terms of race politics is the fact that hispanic populations are growing faster than the locust black population.
White liberals are fricking trying to commit racial and social suicide and will be the first to be shocked when they have tires around their bodies set on fire.

The United States of America may very well one day implement Reparations using Cali's model. However, just like Federal Income Taxes, the Reparations payments will be compulsory and enforced at the point of automatic weapons and F-15 fighters against the US tax-paying citizenry.
It might happen one day, because, IMHO the USA is currently evolving into a Radical Left Totalitarian Police State. Once this leviathan is fully evolved, there might be violent oppression of the disfavored political classes, and these disfavored classes will be subject to expropriation of their private property without compensation.
South Africa and California may very well be the models and examples of what our future might look like.
We have voted Democrat for a long time. Now the machine votes Democrat for us, whether we like it or not. We are indeed . . . almost there.
The Government of the United States of America is actively right now focusing the racial dividing lines very openly. The recent story about how the US Office of Management and Budget is scrutinizing and re-classifying some ethnic groups from "White" to non-white may be just a precursor example of how the USA will intensify its focus on persons classified as "White" and target these persons for special treatment under US law. What kind of special treatment? Take a guess. It probably isn't nice special treatment. It's probably discrimination of some kind.

I guess I should just hand my wife, bank account and home over to the nearest black person. Even though my family wasn’t here until way after slavery ended.
