My prediction is if the Dems can get one of theirs in the final two then the Dems will beat the Republican in the head to head matchup strictly due to ballot harvesting.

Arnold had a $25 billion budget shortfall when he left office. Pete Wilson had a substantial surplus. Both were extremely successful when compared to slimy.

If they elect a conservative Governor somehow, he's a lame duck for six years, if he lasts that long. There's no possibility that their populace votes their way out of the liberal supermajority in their Congress, and their Supreme Court is to the left of Mao.
