The California Democratic Party chairman is calling for a boycott of In-N-Out Burger after it was revealed this week that the fast food chain donated $25,000 to the California Republican Party.

"Et tu In-N-Out?" Eric Bauman, the state's Democratic Party chairman, tweeted.

"Tens of thousands of dollars donated to the California Republican Party... it’s time to #BoycottInNOut - let Trump and his cronies support these creeps... perhaps animal style!"

Fortune noted that In-N-Out has made donations to different groups in the past: Campaign finance filings show that restaurant donated $30,000 in 2017 and then $50,000 this year to Californians for Jobs and a Strong Economy, a political action committee that supports Democratic candidates who are considered cordial to businesses. This is a losing battle for this dipshit. First, it is their right to do so and second, in n out is the greatest god damn burger chain in the world.

It would have been a lot more effective for Bauman to say In-N-Out donated $12,500 to every California Republican.

I mean, I think In-N-Out is fine and all, but I do not understand why people give it this kind of praise. Do you think it's vastly superior to Five Guys and other places like that? I just don't see it.

This is why the Democrat party is failing. For the past 20-30 years they have been moving more and more to an all-or-nothing policy that promotes varying levels of retaliation against any person or group that does not fully support them (much more for those that support opposing views).

Combine this with their identity politics that grows ever more narrow and you see a group that is slowly painting themselves into irrelevancy due to being so niched and they are doing so with amazingly ignorant zeal.

Sweet, the next time I'm in Cali I won't have to wait 20+min to get my order in.

My man! I was just about to type that. ALthough, as shake shack has franchised out more, i feel as though the quality has dipped.

It’s very good but I would think part of the appeal is that it’s geographically limited.

If you aren’t on the west coast or in one of the few other places that have one, like a few cities in Texas, then it becomes one of those places you have to eat at when you are near one.

Kind of like how Coors was so popular when it wasn’t legal east of the Mississippi but it’s now just another brand like Bud or Miller.

Yes. And it's cheap as shite.

There's a reason why there are lines around the corner.
