Every firearm that I ever lost in a series of unfortunate marine mishaps, are collectively dancing a little jig of celebration.
Prayers to Feinstein's family. She has now faced the only judge that truly matters.

Such a sad day for Communism.

If she really cared a out her position as a public servant, she'd have bowed out a long time ago, but she didn't care. Blame is also put on the people who voted for her. If this is the only way to get her out, so be it.
Now, let's get the rest of the old fricks out on both sides. Their time has passed. Let the younger generations decide their own future.

Reminder as to how Dianne did business:
This was during recess between confirmation hearings in the Senate for Justice Neil Gorsuch.

Kamala to Senate.
Gavin to VP.

You all are missing the saddest part of this tragedy. A poor Chinese Chauffeur is out of a job today...

Horrible human being... but she was also a victim. She should've retired 15 years ago, and enjoyed herself.
Instead, she was seemingly pressured to stay in that seat.

No she wasn't. It's the same reason I don't cry "elder abuse" for Biden. These people knowingly keep themselves chained to the levers of power because they choose to.

… and the Dems have officially lost control of the Senate until the replacement is seated.
Tell the house to hurry the hell up with those articles of impeachment.

None of those matter compared to Thomas.
Like, at all. Bill Clinton? Jimmy Carter? What impact do they have on our government today?
McConnell will be replaced by a Republican
So, how is bringing up Justice Thomas parallel to this situation in any way?
There’s a 0% chance whoever replaces Feinstein will deviate from her politically in any manner whatsoever.
ETA, with McConnell there’s at least a slight chance you get someone more aligned with the views of Rand than him.

Feinstein was an evil, wretched woman.
And yet she was a saint compared to most of her fellow Dems in the Senate. How sad is that?

Finding out hell is for real about now I would suspect. Of course, she may have had a death bed confession for all her sins and not be destined for the fires.
Maybe that's why she has been out of the public eye for so long, she was sitting the the confessional 24/7 for the lst 90 days.

Thank goodness for death. Otherwise these corrupt folk like feinstein, palosi, schumer etc would never leave office. They have no shame

It begins. Kamala to Senate. Gavin to VP.
Real question but can Gavin Newsome just be appointed VP without a vote?
I figured Kamala can be appointed to the Senate position because she is from California but wasn’t sure what the rule is as far as appointed a VP.
Edited
I just looked it up and apparently a new VP would need to be a majority vote by the house and senate. No way does the house approve of newsome without making him go through a electoral college vote by him running on a primary ticket.

Her vote still counts, though!

60 vote threshold for conviction, so it would only be for control of the trial IIRC.

Seriously?
First of all, why the hell wouldn't she? She has the unique position of being the only federal officer below the President that can't be fired by anyone. No one gets to tell her what to do...not even the potato in the Oval Office. Did you not actually know that, or were you stoned out of your gourd literally every day in HS government class?
Second, if you think blacks would sit still and let that happen, you must have started following American politics about 15 minutes ago.
You haven’t been paying attention.
We’re at a unique and interesting juncture in American history.
We have an imbecilic POTUS whose party wouldn’t be able to unload fast enough, save for one problem: the VP is even more of an imbecile than he is.
Kamala is just happy to be there. Her strings aren’t being pulled any less than Joe’s. She’ll do as she’s told if she wants ANYTHING.

Pretty sure it does.
With her having been on the judiciary committee, it negatively impacts Biden’s ability to get new federal judges confirmed.
