Lots of fiber optic infrastructure work here in my little SWLA town. Dirt work, ditch witches, shovels…. I have yet to pass any site they are working on where a Afro American is on the work crew. Zero! nada! None!

Maybe instead of trying to direct all these kids into college, or treat their schools like day care, how about funding vo tech programs for these black kids?

Construction requires both a decent work ethic and a medium level of skill.
Hispanics don’t seem to be lacking in those areas.

I live in an Ag heavy area. Most of our labor including a lot of skilled construction jobs are filled by Hispanics.
