He is most definitely pulling away Bernie votes. He also has the capability to hurt Biden among more traditional Democrats. My 75 year old mother is voting for him. She's voted both R and D through the years. Reagan McCain voted Obama the 2nd term.

frick it, I'll play along.

Which of the problems facing a small college town with a single economic engine did Burtigieg solve, and how are they analogous to the country at large?

What has he done in Indiana that should force me to pay attention to him as a candidate?

I'm not trolling. I honestly want you to tell me what he's done as a politician.

A self-loathing, apologizing for being white, homo isn't going to drive the turnout democrats will need to beat Trump.

Plus, he is a white male. The victimhood/intersectionality point that his homosexuality brings him not withstanding, he is persona non grata in that party going forward.

I was guilty of thinking Trump had no chance with evangelicals, thus not really having a shot at the presidency. I was wrong.

But I get it. He’s merely the guy delivering the judges and pro-Israel policies they support. They don’t care about his religion, or lack thereof. I mean, has Trump ever acknowledged being a Christian? I don’t think I’ve heard it or read it.

The homosexuality is going to be the stake thru his heart as far as the black vote goes.

Name me a candidate worthy of “Evangelical” support that wouldn’t look like hypocrisy. I’ll wait.

Christians can be Christians under Trump. Despite his shortcomings and faults.

Christians will be outlawed under leftist ideology. Despite their supposed moral high ground with no underpinnings.

Again to a leftist its all about feeellings. How do I feel about a person? Not what issues does that person stand for?

And who are they supposed to support, those who advocate for every disgusting immoral thing imaginable, who will destroy the economy which is bad for everyone, and who want to make it ok to murder fully formed babies?

central message is accept Jesus as your Savior.

The central message is that there is a God, apart, with qualities like a father.
Once you buy that you get virgins birthing Gods son.

If Jesus was just a guy killing him would get you a murder sentence not a get out of hell free card.

where it's about lifting up the least among us and taking care of strangers, which is another word for immigrants

1) in a modern sense, this is essentially an UNTRUE statement

2) IF it were true, and since ALL economists of ALL political leanings KNOW that illegal immigration depresses wages, and this MOST adversely affects the working poor, thus Trump's policies are in fact, "uplifting and taking care of strangers"

t's not so much them supporting trump wholeheartedly. It's more about the only legit alternative being Democrats, and the fact that Democrats utilize "shaming Christians" as one of their platforms

I’m a Christian and I find his behavior deplorable often. I laugh at it sometimes as well. I didn’t vote for him despite agreeing with him on policy most often. As of now he’s earned my vote if the Dem primaries turn out how I think they will.

That being said, John MacArthur said it very well in that “while we can disagree with several actions of this president, his pro-life stances and moreso the pro-choice stances of all of today’s democrats have forced some hands.”

Paraphrasing of course.

And I agree. I’m not going to scream and call it murder and every other insult under the sun, but there isn’t a Democrat running today that shows an ounce of remorse for the idea of abortion. The embrace of it is sickening and I will not vote for a candidate or party that takes it so lightly. I don’t want to be a single issue voter, but I have no choice.

And before a word is said, I give to pregnancy centers and foster care groups more than I do any other charity.
